The Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission has employed 2 search technologies to allow greater flexibility in searching the WAIRC's decisions, orders, awards, agreements and website in general. These technologies are iSys and Google.
This website will direct you to the most suitable technology depending on your type of search, however if you wish to use one technology in particular over the other you can access either directly by clicking on iSys search or Google search below:
iSys WAIRC search homepage
Google WAIRC search homepage
The site search will use Google to search the entire site for your search term, allowing you to find the relevant page with the information you're looking for. If you're looking for a particular document (award/agreement/decision/order) - use one of the Document Search boxes instead.
Simply specify what you're looking for (for example an award or decision) and the term you're searching for. Google or iSys (depending on which you choose to use) will return the most relevant documents based on this information.
If you know the specific application number you wish to retrieve documents for, simply enter in that information. If documents exist for that application, iSys will find them for you.
If you are familiar with advanced searching techniques, you are able to use either search engine's advanced search page to further refine your searches to return the most accurate results.
Medium Neutral numbers are assigned to all documents for global referencing purposes. In the gazette these numbers appear as 2006 WAIRC 03214 - But for searching purposes the number you would search for is 200603214.
All documents published in full in the gazette are assigned a gazette reference - this is now searchable via the Google search engine. For example the 2006 General Order Wage Case document was published in volume 86 page 1631. The gazette reference for this document is 86WAIG1631.
