APPLICATION FOR A NEW AGREEMENT TITLED
“SHIRE OF CRANBROOK OUTSIDE STAFF COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT 2023”
NOTICE is given that an application has been made to the Commission by the Shire Of Cranbrook under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) for the registration of the above Agreement.
As far as relevant, those parts of the proposed Agreement which relate to area of operation and scope are published hereunder.
3. COVERAGE AND PERIOD OF OPERATION
3.1 This Agreement will cover:
3.1.1 The Shire;
3.1.2 The Local Government, Racing and Cemeteries Employees Union (WA) including its officers and employees and those employees of the Shire who are eligible to be members of the Union.
3.2 At the time this Agreement was made, the number of Employees to be covered by it was approximately 24.
3.3 This Agreement does not cover Employees appointed as the Chief Executive Officer, or to a senior employee role (as designated by the Shire), or to a position with remuneration that exceeds $110,000 per annum.
3.4 This Agreement shall commence operation from the date on which it is registered by the WAIRC and has a nominal expiry date three (3) years from the day on which it is registered.
3.5 This Agreement will continue in operation after its nominal expiry date until replaced.
A copy of the proposed Agreement may be inspected at my office at 111 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000.
