WHEREAS on 27 February 2024, applications were filed by the Shire of Cue, the Shire of Mount Magnet, and the Shire of Brookton to intervene in the proceedings (intervention applications);

AND WHEREAS on 22 March 2024, Chambers wrote to the parties and sought views by no later than 27 March 2024 on whether the intervention applications were either consented to or opposed;

AND WHEREAS responses were received from the applicant and several respondents advising that they did not oppose the intervention applications;

AND WHEREAS no objections to the intervention applications were received;

AND WHEREAS the Commission has considered the intervention applications;

NOW THEREFORE, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA), hereby orders –

THAT pursuant to s 27(1)(k) of the Act, permission to intervene is granted to the Shire of Cue, the Shire of Mount Magnet, and the Shire of Brookton.
