Order

WHEREAS this is an application made pursuant to s 41 of the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) (the Act) to register an industrial agreement (application);

AND WHEREAS I am satisfied that The Australian Workers' Union (Western Australian Public Sector) General Agreement 2024 (agreement) meets the requirements of the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) and that it should be registered;

AND WHEREAS the parties consent to the application being determined on the papers;

NOW THEREFORE, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred under the Act, and by consent, hereby orders –

1. THAT the agreement made between the parties filed in the Registry of the Commission on 29 July 2025 as amended and titled The Australian Workers' Union (Western Australian Public Sector) General Agreement 2024, that is attached to this order, be registered as an industrial agreement with effect from the date of this order.
2. THAT The Australian Workers' Union (Western Australian Public Sector) General Agreement 2024 replaces the Australian Workers’ Union (Western Australian Public Sector) General Agreement 2022, which by operation of s 41(8) of the Act is hereby cancelled.
