Correction Order
WHEREAS on 24 May 2007 an order in this matter was deposited in the Office of the Registrar;
AND WHEREAS on 30 May 2007 the Hon Minister's representative advised the Commission that the order contained two errors;
AND WHEREAS the Commission now issues an order to correct the errors;
NOW THEREFORE the Commission pursuant to the powers conferred on it under the Industrial Relations Act, 1979, hereby orders:
THAT Clauses 4.8 and 6.4 in the schedule to the Order issued by the Commission in application 555 of 2005 on 24 May 2007 ([2007] WAIRC 00476) be amended in terms of the attached schedule.
COMMISSION IN COURT SESSION
SCHEDULE
1. Clause 4.8 – Wages and Supplementary Payments: In 4.8.4 Junior Employees, replace 78 with 78.5 in the '%' column to the right of the text '19 years of age'.
2. Clause 6.4 – Bereavement Leave: Delete subclause 6.4.1 of this clause and insert the following in lieu thereof:
6.4.1 An employee shall on the death of a spouse, de facto partner, parent, step-parent, grandparent, sibling, child, step-child, grandchild (including an adult child, step-child or grandchild) or any other person who at the time of his or her death lived with the employee as a member of his or her household, be entitled on notice, of leave up to and including the day of the funeral of such relation and such leave shall be without deduction of pay for a period not exceeding the number of hours worked by the employee in two (2) ordinary working days.
