Order

WHEREAS on 7 October 2025,the Town of Bassendean filed an application seeking to vary the Town of Bassendean (Administration) Agreement 2024 pursuant to Regulation 57 of the Industrial Relations Commission Regulations 2005 (WA);

AND WHEREAS the application sought to add a reference to the Early Childhood Education and Care Worker Retention Payment (EWRP) in Clause 15 Allowances;

AND WHEREAS the grounds for the application were for the applicant’s employees to be eligible for the EWRP grant, requiring the applicant to have a legally enforceable workplace instrument that references the EWRP;

AND WHEREAS the application complies with Regulation 55 and Regulation 57 of the Regulations;

AND WHEREAS the parties consent to this application for the variation of an industrial agreement being determined on the papers;

NOW THEREFORE the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) hereby orders:

THAT the Town of Bassendean (Administration) Agreement 2024 be varied by substituting the agreement attached hereto, with effect from the date of this order.
